Blizzard Unveils New Hearthstone Expansion - The Witchwood

Blizzard Unveils New Hearthstone Expansion - The Witchwood

The Witchwood also marks the beginning of a brand-new Hearthstone Year: The Year of the Raven.

As you can see in the trailer above, this new expansion will come with a bunch of new cards to play with - 135 in all.

Dark magic has twisted the creatures of the forest and set them loose upon the Gilnean capital in Azeroth, but King Genn Greymane and his lycanthropic subjects won't make for easy prey. The Witchwood will bring Echo cards, plenty of Worgen, and a new Monster Hunt mode. New expansions drive sales of cards. This is different from a current keyword, Charge, which lets minions immediately attack minions and Heroes. The first is Echo, which allows you to play the same card multiple times in the one turn, as long as you have the Mana to pay for it. As of a few moments ago, we now know what the mysterious expansion signaling this shift turned out to be: The Witchwood.

Shortly after the expansion is released players will have access to an exciting new single-player Hearthstone experience in The Witchwood to destroy the evil once and for all. They'll have to survive eight increasingly hard brawls in order to face the boss fight that waits for them in the heart of the wood. More are set to be revealed around March 26.

Charlize Theron's mom is also her weed supplier
In " Gringo ", Theron plays a cut-throat businesswoman whose main focus is to launch a special type of bioengineered marijuana. The break didn't last though, as Theron and her mom both have trouble sleeping and mutually chose to give edibles a shot.

As for the cards within Hearthstone's The Witchwood expansion, players will have to wait.

An announcement video, which features a musical number and a preview of Witchwood cards from the development team, can be viewed below. The expansion packs are now available for pre-order where those who pre-order will be given an additional 20 packs as a bonus along with a "In a Dark Wood" card back.

Genn Greymane: If your deck has only even-cost cards at the start of the game, your starting Hero Power costs one mana.

Coming in April to PC and Mac; Windows, iOS, and Android tablets; and mobile phones, The Witchwood card packs will be winnable in Hearthstone's Arena mode, and players can purchase them with in-game gold or real money at the same prices as Hearthstone's other card packs. It will work similarly to the Dungeon Run mode introduced in Kobalds & Catacombs, but it appears players will choose a new hero rather than one of the existing ones.
