Broncos To Land Case Keenum

Instead, Case Keenum intends to sign with Denver once free agency begins.

ProFootballTalk reported Keenum is expected to receive $18-20million a year from Denver.

Keenum, who went 11-3 as the Vikings' starter last season, could become the first free agent quarterback to get a new home.

The Vikings are a team that's been looking for a franchise quarterback since Fran Tarkenton retired.

He also threw a touchdown on the last play of the game to Stefon Diggs to stun the New Orleans Saints in the divisional round of the playoffs. He played two-plus seasons each for the Texans (where he played for Broncos adviser Gary Kubiak) and Rams, and one season with the Vikings.

While the Minnesota Vikings have been heavily connected to free agent quarterback Kirk Cousins in the past couple of weeks, the team has reportedly reached out to another veteran quarterback.

He asks her: "Where did it hit you?" "What did she do wrong?" In general life, spitting is regarded as the lowest of the low. As per The Mirror , Carragher phoned the girl to apologise to her last night and acknowledged he had lost his head.

Beyond that, the Keenum news also (possibly) proves that the Broncos were in fact afraid that Kirk Cousins had made up his mind about joining the Vikings and so instead of attempting to pitch some sort of late-game Hail Mary deal for Cousins, the Broncos chose to just go for the QB that Cousins is about to replace in Minnesota (knock on Teddy's wooden leg).

The 30-year-old will look to help steer the Broncos to a bounce-back season after they went 5-11 in 2017.

Broncos quarterback John Elway has talked repeatedly during the offseason about the need to get better at quarterback. That's why he was the back-up in the playoffs over Bridgewater and that's why the team is going after Cousins, who is the same age as Bradford and has a similar style of play (although Cousins is much more mobile). I'll take that a step further: Since Sammy Watkins and Allen Robinson are both off the board, Elway can also invest in the front five.

Arizona is just one game under.500 over the last two years without a reliable starting quarterback.

Keenum's arrival means Paxton Lynch is expected to return as a backup with competition from Chad Kelly and a potential draft choice - that has not been ruled out - as Denver plans on trading Trevor Siemian. There were some things that we should have done differently that we didn't do.
