The iOS 11.3.1 update primarily fixes the issue of the iPhone 8's display becoming unresponsive in cases where the handset's display was repaired by a third-party service centre.

The fix bug affecting the iPhone 8 models surfaced shortly after iOS 11.3 was launched.

Separately, Apple released macOS 10.13.4 Security Update 2018-001.
