At Least 9 Teenagers Die in Israel Flash Floods

The head of a seminary who organized a desert trek in which 10 Israeli teenagers were killed in a flash flood has been arrested on suspicion of causing death through negligence, police said.

Israel's President Reuven Rivlin said security and rescue forces would be supported, and called on the public to follow instructions given by the police.

Nine Israeli teens were killed and one remains missing after getting caught in a flash flood during a hike in a riverbed near the Dead Sea.

The funerals for the young students were slated to be held Friday in their hometowns.

They were part of a group of around 25 hikers taking part in the training.

Chrissy Teigen doesn't approve of Kanye West tweeting John Legend's texts
Kanye West made a return to Twitter recently and ever since there's been a near constant discussion over what he's been saying. Well, I got a lot, I got a lot of support. "You don't have to agree with Trump , but the mob can't make me not love him".

Russell Westbrook scores 45 as Thunder's huge rally rocks Utah
The reigning MVP was the catalyst for a remarkable 31-7 run in the third quarter which saw the Thunder overcome their big deficit. The Thunder will need to go into Salt Lake City and win on a very home friendly court just to stay alive in the series.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described it as a serious disaster.

The unseasonable flooding also claimed the lives of four others over the course of two days and prompted a dramatic rescue attempt involving search teams and helicopters.

A survivor who witnessed a almost 10-foot wave sweep his friends away told local media, "I saw bodies floating in the water. I hope they will all soon be able to get back to their families and friends".

"At one point there was a wave that was three or four meters high", he told his father, the Times of Israel reported, citing Hadashot news. "Little girl, girl with so much energy and happiness", she said.

Eventually, authorities announced on Thursday night that the bodies of the ten dead students were recovered and that they were all aged between 17 or 18. It doesn't make sense to go to a place that's completely flooded. On Wednesday, a teenage Bedouin and a Palestinian girl also died in flash floods that hit Israel and Palestinian territories.
