Cavs rally in fourth quarter to down Wizards

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James lamented the fact his team fell behind by 30 points in Friday night's 132-130 road loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, but he said the comeback effort that came up just short showcased the Cavs' upside. The result? The Cavs closed the game on a 32-11 run to escape with a 119-115 win.

James is also the only player in National Basketball Association history to average at least 27 points, seven rebounds and seven assists for their career. Irving was excellent as ever this season for the Celtics, who led the Eastern Conference standings for most of the season with him fit and firing at a 24.6 points per game rate.

In addition to the playoff positioning, the come-from-behind win served as a nice "Welcome Back" to returning coach Tyronn Lue, who returned to the sideline after missing more than two weeks of action because of persistent health issues, including pains that were "very piercing through the chest and around the rib area".

The Wizards increased their lead to 104-87 with 7:35 remaining in the contest after 3-pointers by Tomas Satoransky and Beal. Personally, the Satoransky three forced me to flip over to the Clippers/Jazz game and at that point, I generally felt happy for the Wiz - they deserved the W.

Nuggets 100, Timberwolves 96: Jamal Murray had 22 points to lead six Denver players in double figures, Nikola Jokic wrapped things up with a late tip-in and the Nuggets beat Minnesota in Denver.

The Cavaliers blew a 15-point first-half lead, then overcame a 17-point fourth-quarter deficit. As mentioned, the Cavs should be able to win out the rest of their games, but the same can be assumed for the Sixers, as they will close out the season against the Mavericks, the Hawks and at home against the Bucks.

Another key decision taken after talks between the visiting Oli and Modi was on the development of inland waterways. Oli had also met President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday and was given a ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Markieff Morris had another understated yet productive all-around game Wednesday with 15 points, five rebounds and four assists.

Forward Cedi Osman iced the game when he stole a pass from Wall and sunk a pair of free throws in the final seconds of the fourth quarter.

If the seedings all hold as-is, Cleveland would get the Miami Heat in the first round in the three/six pairing.

"There are certain teams you can't make turnovers against", James said.

"Wit my heavy hitta aka The Queen. post game last night!", he captioned a photo of the two having some fun after the game. "They've been playing some good ball". Clashes against cellar dwellers Dallas and Atlanta should be wins, setting up a must-watch clash with the current Eastern Conference seventhh-seed Milwaukee.
