Gmail to soon receive 'Confidential Mode' and 'Self-Destructing' Emails

It seems that not only the design will change as Gmail is set to bring in a very important surprising new feature which was added by Google, and it was discovered shortly before the official release.

"We work hard to comply with the right to be forgotten, but we take great care not to remove search results that are in the public interest", Google said in a statement. Also, the new feature will be smoothly embedded in the compose screen of the Gmail website which will make it easier for the users to switch to the "Confidential Mode". If an email is sent in confidential mode, the recipient won't be able to forward email content, download, copy and paste, or print the email.

"You can configure the expiration date so that your email disappears after 1 week, 1 month, multiple years, etc.", Tech Crunch writes.

Still, in the wake of data privacy scandals like Facebook's recent Cambridge Analytica incident, it's nice to see companies like Google offering their users extra privacy features.

An email sent to G Suite administrators confirmed that the redesign is coming, with improved access to G Suite apps, such as Google Calendar, from within Gmail; Smart Reply; email snoozing; and offline support.

Colts' Andrew Luck hopes to be restriction-free come training camp

PSG and Bayern Munich enquire about Newcastle star
Ever Banega missed the first leg with a yellow card suspension and his return will help Sevilla in midfield. The same applies to Franck Ribery , Joshua Kimmich , Corentin Tolisso, Jerome Boateng and Sebastian Rudy.

The web clients of Gmail are set to receive one of its most substantial overhauls in the next few weeks, yet Google made no announcements publicly.

We didn't overlook the part where emails self-destruct in the Gmail redesign, don't worry.

The businessman, known as NT2 during legal proceedings, had asked Google to delete links to news articles related to his past.

There has been no official announcement regarding the launch of this feature to the users in their entirety. Rather than using text links, Gmail will use clickable icons for a cleaner and more concise appearance. Users will be able to select a date when the email will expire, after which the receiver will no longer be able to see the email.

Mashable said that Google has left no hints as to what the update will mean for your personal email use, though. On the other side, the confidentiality of mail content will be protected by a link, which only will be revealed after identity verification. But users can take screenshot or photo of email.
