James Comey's tell-all book details his handling of the Hillary Clinton email investigation and private interactions he had with President Trump, a man he blasts as "untethered to truth", according to multiple reports.

Trump fired Comey a year ago, eventually leading to the appointment of Russian Federation special counsel Robert Mueller by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

It is to be released next week.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of SC told Fox News that he believed Comey was acting politically when he had a friend leak memos he'd written to The New York Times "for the express objective of having a special counsel" investigate Trump.

"He brought up what he called the "golden showers thing".
