"This is the playoffs", an anonymous Cleveland player said.

Monday's game, which finished the sweep of the Raptors in front of the home fans, was the ideal chance for Hood to gain some rhythm, with almost nothing at stake and plenty of minutes to hoist from distance.

But one of the Cavaliers' potential role players was conspicuously absent from the game.

Hood feels bad about the incident that happened with 7:38 left in the fourth quarter, and he expressed remorse on Tuesday to team officials about becoming a distraction, said the person who spoke to the AP on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the situation.

With the Cavs up 30 late in the fourth quarter of Game 4, coach Ty Lue told Hood to check in.

"Hood refused to go in, multiple sources confirmed".

The Pacers routed the Cavs 98-80 in Game 1, and Lue changed up his starting lineup afterward, playing Kyle Korver with the first unit and bringing Hood off the bench.

N Korea says peace talks not result of USA pressure
The main theme of the unprecedented meeting between Washington and Pyongyang will be the denuclearization of North Korea. Trump told reporters on Friday that arrangements for the meeting had been set but didn't elaborate any further.

It goes on: "A number of veterans huddled around him during the timeout and tried talking sense into him, but Hood still refused to go, so Jose Calderon subbed into the game instead".

Cavaliers general manager Koby Altman reportedly plans to meet Hood to give him the opportunity to explain himself.

The Cavaliers acquired Hood from the Utah Jazz at the trade deadline as part of their midseason roster makeover.

The Cavs will not suspend Hood for refusing to play, but he probably shouldn't expect to see a lot of time on the court moving forward.

"(Hood) is not built for (the playoffs)", an opposing executive texted Lloyd before the postseason began.

On Monday night in Cleveland, the Cavaliers put the last nail in the coffin of the Toronto Raptors with yet another dominating performance to sweep the series and move on to the conference finals. They've already have more than enough in the previous year, which plays benefits Hood's benefit this time.
