Cavs coach Tyronn Lue: LeBron James will be great in Game 6

Did you really think LeBron James was going to let the Cavaliers lose on their home court in an elimination game?

Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love left Game 6 after he collided with Boston Celtics rookie Jayson Tatum midway through the first quarter.

The Boston Celtics are somehow one win away from taking down LeBron James and reaching the NBA Finals.

LeBron James #23 of the Cleveland Cavaliers reacts in the second half against the Boston Celtics during Game Five of the 2018 NBA Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden on May 23, 2018 in Boston, Massachusetts. It sure has looked at times as though he relishes these moments, though James said otherwise at Cavaliers shootaround Friday.

The last time the Cavs were in this situation - Game 7 of the first round against Indiana - James responded with 45 points.

"Like I have always said, "game seven" are the two best words in sports".

"Defensively we gave ourselves a chance", said James noting the Cavs held the Celtics to 36.5 per cent shooting.

Terry Rozier scored 28 points to lead the Celtics, who are trying to return to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010. Because it's given him an opportunity to make fail plays or make mistakes and learn from them and still be on the floor.

The 20-year-old becomes the first Celtics player to receive the nod since Paul Pierce in 1998-99. James finished the game with 26 points on 50.0 percent shooting from the field, but the Cavs needed more than that to steal this road game.

Unfortunately for the Cavs, the answer is yes. The Truth says that while Tatum has looked unflappable in postseason play, he thought the pressure of the playoffs became too overwhelming for someone like Ben Simmons.

"I've loved Kyle ever since we made the trade to get him here", LeBron admitted."He's just a true professional". It was the most he has scored in an elimination game and only three points shy of his playoff career high of 49. Granted, I know the offensive totals of Ojeleye would not be why it's Korver on Ojeleye - at least from the Cleveland point of view.

Irving did not travel to Cleveland for Games 3 and 4.

Meanwhile, Boston is now 10-0 at home during this postseason run. "I'm pretty sure a lot of guys are exhausted".

"I think he will be the first to tell you that he enjoys playing in these types of games", Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said following the game.
