Queen expected to have a sneak peek at Meghan Markle's wedding dress

Prince Harry's former Army comrades have wished him and Meghan Markle good luck ahead of their wedding.

Prince Charles has been a man of few words regarding his son Prince Harry's upcoming wedding to Meghan Markle, but a little over a week before the famous couple will tie the knot, he is finally speaking out about the big day.

Keeping this face in mind, we were quite nervous to see the grand reveal on Wednesday (May 9) of Prince Harry's bride-to-be, Meghan Markle.

Meanwhile Captain Pearce, a flight instructor, wished the pair "all the best", but added in jest that Prince Harry might be "punching above his weight".

"We didn't view him as Prince Harry".

And while many would expect the royal couple to be whisked away on their honeymoon to somewhere fabulous immediately following the wedding celebration, not so fast says Kensington Palace.

Harry and Meghan's wedding day is nearly here.

The programme charts Prince Harry's journey from childhood through the prism of four royal weddings, as well as the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana.

London-based couture house Ralph & Russo, founded by Australian designers Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, are strong contenders when it comes down to who will be designing Meghan Markle's wedding dress.

"Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion", Prince Harry's press secretary said in a statement on Friday, May 4.

A growing number of brands are linking themselves to the upcoming royal wedding, which is expected to be especially popular in the US since bride Meghan Markle is American, which means there's an opportunity for marketers to ride the coattails of the excitement around the event with their own themed promotions, which so far are leaning towards viewing parties and product tie-ins around fascinators, the elaborate hats that are popular at British royal weddings. The programme - featuring Richard Goulding as Prince Harry and Kathryn Drysdale as Meghan Markle - is billed as "an outrageous satirical comedy to celebrate the royal event of the year".

Speaking about accompanying Harry and Meghan, he joked: "He might well give me a bit of abuse about my sword position or riding position but I think he'll be more excited by the fact he's pulled a cracker and will get to take her home".

It looks like it's not just the run-up that sounds stressful however, with Harry and Meghan having a lot of jobs and duties to carry out on the actual day.
