Rockets vs. Jazz: Houston aims to close out Utah in Game 5

Am I forgetting the fact that James Harden has not exactly been the most stellar playoff performer in his career, and neither has Chris Paul, and that Paul in particular has a recent and very bad memory of being up 3-1 in the conference semifinals only to have everything go terribly wrong.

Don't let the Jazz players fool you: Rockets center Clint Capela has been a major problem in this series. He lamented that his team was "lulled to sleep" in Game 2 of this series because of the dominant showing in Game 1.

With the odds already stacked against Utah, Gobert losing his individual battle is making life incredibly hard for his Jazz. And it feels good to have somebody have our back like he does. "Every single night, he has our back", said Harden, who got in Capela's face and yelled his approval at the end of the game. "He doesn't, you know, ask for a lot", Harden said.

They went into a hostile environment in Utah and won two games without much difficulty and should get the job done at home. "That's what he does".

While the Jazz didn't pull off the win, the loss didn't diminish this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

With over 5 and a half minutes left in the 3rd quarter, Dante Exum flexed his left hamstring a little too tightly, and he had to hobble off the floor and had no more role to play in the game.

Utah's Australian guard/forward Joe Ingles had 15 points, eight rebounds and four assists but was off target when shooting from distance with just two of his seven three-pointers dropping. Paul also brought up Capela's defense and the "20 altered shots" Harden mentioned. And it's a steal. "Then I thought we pressed a bit when we got behind".

Mets to designate former All-Star Matt Harvey for assignment
Scott Boras, Harvey's agent , said in a text message that the bullpen was tough for Harvey to work on all of his pitches. Harvey is 0-2 with a 7.00 ERA this season, leaving him with a 34-37 record and 3.66 ERA in six major league seasons.

"You can't take anything away from them and the way that they play", Jazz coach Quin Snyder said. While Donovan Mitchell has made huge strides in the playoffs, bouncing back from a poor performance in Game 3 to score 25 points in Game 4, he hasn't gotten much help.

"I kept saying, 'I don't know how I'll be able to go because I can't walk, '" Lane said. He's averaging a mere 18 points on 32.5 percent shooting this series. This simple action keeps the pressure on Gobert who has to try to prevent both the guard from scoring while keeping track of Capela.

Neither team was accurate from beyond the arc as the Jazz were 7-for-29 and Houston went 10-for-38. When the Jazz weren't hitting shots, they couldn't balance things out by getting stops on the other end.

Although Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni protested, C.J. was escorted to the tunnel to speak with security.

The Jazz rank third in fast break points allowed per game (10.0) while the Rockets rank 15th (11.7). Capela has been effective on the boards and blocking shots despite the increased attention and focus the Jazz have placed on him. Luckily for him, the misunderstanding was cleared up quickly.

Because of that experience, Paul isn't going to count his chickens just yet.
