Griezmann snubs Barca to stay at Atletico

Gerard Pique insists he harbours no bad feelings towards Antoine Griezmann after the France worldwide reaffirmed his commitment to Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the Spanish capital for well over 12 months, with a move to Manchester United highly anticipated last summer.

"I cannot stand it anymore, I need to tell people that I want to stay", he told French TV channel Movistar, who spent time with him in a Reality TV-like setting which did conjure memories of National Basketball Association superstar Lebron James" "The Decision' in which he revealed he was leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers to join the Miami Heat.

The forward has been with Atletico since 2014 and last season helped the team to lift the Europa League, scoring 29 goals in all competition for Diego Simeone's side.

"I feel there are things to do with Atletico", Griezmann added.
