Kane fires England to record 6-1 win against Panama

The national team won 6-1 in Russian Federation earlier today, with a hat trick from Harry Kane, two goals from John Stones, and another from Jesse Lingard.

Most importantly of all, in Kane they have a striker the whole world will now fear.

A win for Germany in their final group game against South Korea will see them qualify to the next round, though it will be as runners-up should Mexico avoid defeat against Sweden.

Brazil are on course to top Group E, while the world champions salvaged their campaign with a last-gasp win over Sweden on Saturday evening. The runners-up in Group G, on the other hand, are in line to play Mexico in the quarter-finals.

A similar situation could arise in Group B too, as Spain and Portugal have identical records at the time of writing as well.

For England fans, the pain of being knocked out by Iceland in the 2016 Euros and a winless first-round exit at the 2014 World Cup, was finally slipping away.

In just two World Cup appearances, the Tottenham striker now has as many World Cup goals as Lionel Messi after backing up his double to beat Tunisia with the first World Cup hat-trick from an Englishman since Gary Lineker in 1986.

Stars of the entertainment world have reacted optimistically about England's World Cup chances after today's (June 24) victory over Panama. We played some really good stuff for 35-40 minutes but then of course the second half was more hard.

Charlotte Hornets trade Dwight Howard to Brooklyn Nets
New Hornets general manager Kupchak signed Mozgov to a four-year, $64 million deal in 2016 when both were with the Lakers. The Nets landed Mozgov last summer as a part of their trade for the Los Angeles' Lakers D'Angelo Russell.

Starbucks to close 150 stores in 'densely penetrated markets'
Starbucks also said it will shift new store openings to under penetrated markets and slow licensed store growth. For the ubiquitous chain, moving slower and shutting unprofitable stores may trigger some deja vu.

Mattis unaware of any steps North Korea has taken to denuclearize
One such project could be a railway that will be able deliver goods from Russian Federation to South Korea through North Korea . The U.S. official said: "The United States will continue to monitor this site closely as we move forward in our negotiations".

Southgate and his backroom staff also deserve credit for a series of innovative set-piece routines that have already reaped four goals.

England and Belgium face the peculiar prospect of finishing dead level in Group G. After two matches, they both have six points, a goal difference of +6 and eight goals to boot.

"We are just enjoying it", said Kane.

"Fantastic to be through and to do it this way is brilliant".

Substitute Felipe Baloy rewarded them with a consolation goal in the 78th minute, sliding home a free kick that was Panama's first goal in their debut World Cup.

"I really didn't like the performance", he explained.

The Red Devils are now unbeaten in their last 10 World Cup group matches, which may pose a considerable problem for England when they lock horns with the group favourites.
