Donald Trump to nearly entirely avoid London during United Kingdom visit

Prime Minister Theresa May offered Trump a state visit - a pomp-laden affair usually featuring an open-top carriage trip through central London and a banquet at Buckingham Palace - when she became the first foreign leader to visit him after his inauguration in January 2017.

Others are holding marches through the city and in Scotland - where President Trump owns golf courses.

Mr. Trump will travel to London on Thursday after leaving the two-day North Atlantic Treaty Organization summit in Brussels.

The US President also sparked a backlash from author JK Rowling, among others, when he lashed out at Khan immediately after a London terror attack a year ago which killed seven people and left 48 injured.

The president's envoy is scheduled to arrive in the evening on Thursday, July 12, when May will host a black-tie dinner at Blenheim Palace, famous for being the birthplace of Winston Churchill.

"The protest is not only to say that he's not welcome here, but those of us who believe in an alternative need to stand up for equality and justice".

May's office revealed that martial bands of Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards will welcome Trump at his arrival in the Great Court with rousing renditions of the "Liberty Fanfare", "Amazing Grace" and the "National Emblem".

During the dinner, the Countess of Wessex's Orchestra will perform a series of classic British and American hits. And on his departure, Mr Trump will be "piped out" by the Royal Regiment of Scotland. "I think the majority of the British people understand the importance of our alliance".

Saudi Arabia Agrees To Pump More Oil to Maintain Balance
Russian output rose to 11.06 million bpd in June from 10.97 million bpd in May, the Energy Ministry said on Monday. The decision comes in the wake of rising price of oil in the worldwide market due to supply issues from Iran.

"They will be discussing that issue - the relationship with Russian Federation - at the meeting at Chequers", Mr. Johnson said, referring to the prime minister's ceremonial country estate in Ellesborough, about 45 miles northwest of London.

He will not be visiting Downing Street.

On Friday, Trump and May will visit an undisclosed location to witness a display by British soldiers.

The talks will be followed by a press conference and Trump and his wife will then travel to Windsor Castle to meet Queen Elizabeth.

U.S. Ambassador to Britain Woody Johnson painted trade as a potential bright spot in the strong "special relationship" between Britain and the United States, which he said Trump meant to strengthen.

Trump and the first lady will then go on to Windsor Castle to meet the Queen.

A petition calling for the invite to be rescinded garnered more than 1.8 million signatures, forcing parliament into a debate and the government to issue a statement stating that "the President of the United States should be extended the full courtesy of a State Visit".

On the final leg of the tour, the couple will fly to Scotland, where they plan to spend the weekend.
