Demi Lovato Agrees to Go to Rehab After Hospital Release

People close to Lovato told her that they would cut her out of their lives if she did not get treatment. Apparently, the bodyguard then went to Lovato's side and noticed she was apparently not breathing plus there was blood on a pillow, a sign of hemorrhaging.

Demi is now still in the Cedars Sinai Medical Centre in LA and is set to go into rehab within the next few days.

The assistant also called 911, asking first responders to avoid using sirens in an apparent attempt to keep her medical crisis quiet.

Lovato is expected to be cleared to leave the hospital this week, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Demi Lovato, who was hospitalized following a drug overdose last month, is reportedly doing better and will be leaving the hospital in the coming days. So, she is being treated for these issues that are common after a drug overdose.

Currently, Lovato is still in clinic Los Angeles, where he was taken after the overdose.

Multiple sources said that the singer agreed to go for a treatment last Tuesday. She would not say what drugs she took, but Narcan was used to save her life, which reverses the effects of opioids.

"Demi is awake and with her family who want to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support", rep Nicole Perna said in a statement.

The rehab conversation had been delayed because of Lovato's complications, TMZ reported, but by Thursday "going straight to rehab" appeared to be the next step, according to Us Weekly. It's unknown how long she will be in rehab or if/when she will be back on the road, but her next scheduled concert is on September 20 in Mexico City.
