England v Spain: My conscience is clear on Mohamed Salah - Sergio Ramos

England v Spain: My conscience is clear on Mohamed Salah - Sergio Ramos

The 2010 World Cup winners play their first game under Enrique on Saturday away to England in their opening match of the Uefa Nations League before hosting Croatia - finalists in Russian Federation - on Tuesday.

Accusations from both sides have been flung since with many believing Ramos deliberately pulled Salah down by his arm in order to injure the best player in the opposition.

"I only have nice things to say about the new coach". I never wanted to hurt a colleague on the pitch.

However, Ramos said there was renewed enthusiasm around the squad since Luis Enrique, who was a serial victor during his three seasons in charge of Barcelona, had take over.

La Furia Roja will be looking to Isco to lead the resurgence of the former world champions, with the player's creativity sure to be a lethal weapon for Spain.

Ramos is likely to receive a dodgy reception from England fans, especially those of a Liverpool persuasion at Wembley but little has fazed the 32-year-old during his career and he is sticking by his story.

Lengel: Trump's Disgraceful Shaming of His Attorney General Jeff Sessions
In an interview with the "Daily Caller," Trump accused social media companies of tilting elections in favor of the Democrats. Still, investigators are never supposed to take into account the political affiliations of the people they investigate.

Spain midfielder Isco has said the squad is embracing the methods of new manager Luis Enrique, which includes the banning of mobile phones during team meals.

"In the last few years Spain have dropped a couple of levels and our objective is to recover what made us win in the first place", Ramos told a news conference on Friday.

Spain crashed out at the round of 16 during the 2018 World Cup in Russian Federation. "I think I played well against Atletico Madrid and this gave me the opportunity".

He has of course got a great personality and a great presence on the pitch. "We had a lot of laughs, it was fun", said Isco, who called Enrique a winning coach with "a lot of character". We want to absorb Enrique's knowledge."It is a new coach which always demands more attention".

That followed early exits in the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 European Championship.
