"Today was exciting #Superman", Cavill captioned a clip of himself wearing a "Krypton Lifting Team" T-shirt and jokingly holding up a Superman action figure in slow motion. There are also no plans for a solo Superman film currently, but there is potential to revisit the character a few years from now. With that in mind, popular artist BossLogic put together a piece depicting what Jordan could look like as Superman, and the result is pretty stunning. Singer did attempt to spin out a couple of new ideas, such as Superman's secret son with Lois Lane, but the film's reception wasn't strong enough to merit a sequel, and any further fleshing out of those concepts died on the vine.

Henry starred in 2013's Man of Steel, 2016's Batman v. Superman and last year's Justice League, but it was alleged last night he will hang up the red cape after finding success in the Mission: Impossible franchise and his recent casting in Netflix's The Witcher.

Have something to add to the story? But they didn't necessarily say that he's not going to do any future cameos. Or will there be backlash against Henry Cavill for not coming to terms with Warner Bros? In fact, who knows exactly what this is. And that, more than anything else, may be the real hurdle standing in the way of Henry Cavill ever playing Superman again.
