Razer Phone 2 set to launch on October 10, company sends invite

Recent unconfirmed rumors about the Razer Phone 2 claim it will include the company's customized Chroma LED effects that it has put in place on its popular series of PC gaming laptops. The invite (shown above) doesn't explicitly mention the Razer Phone 2, but it does have words "Flagship // Gaming" which hint at the launch of Razer Phone 2.

First published render smartphone Razer Phone 2, not yet announced. The original Razer phone that was debuted past year, had won raves for its strong performance and audio. A few of the smartphone's specifications and features have been confirmed via the company's executives or benchmarking websites. The Razer Phone 2 will be much similar to its predecessor from the front side, and there's hardly any change that will be noticeable.

Razer doesn't uncover any details in the above image but the green outline is clearly depicting what the phone design will look like.

For the first version of Razer Phone, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 and the 8 GB of RAM is not the most interesting thing. The company has sent out prior invitations for this upcoming event, where Razer's CEO Min-Lian-Tang will be showcasing the handset.

The lock screen also gives away the date of the unveiling of the Razer Phone 2 which is set for October 10, the very next day after Google takes the wrappers off its Pixel 3 lineup.

The big selling points of last years phone were the 120Hz refresh rate display and 4,000mAh battery to keep you gaming, so you can expect these will return, they may even try and increase the battery size.
