Dana White Outlines Punishment He Thinks Khabib Should Receive

Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast last night to discuss the events that occurred at UFC 229, SBG and the career of the Crumlin fighter. Danis attempted to fight back and even tried to get himself back into the Octagon after McGregor was being attacked by Nurmagomedov's teammates.

Twice now, McGregor's taken to social media alluding to the fact he wants another crack at Nurmagomedov.

I think they should take $250,000 from him.

White said this morning that McGregor called him and asked for a rematch. "We'll see how things play out". [Former interim lightweight champion] Tony Ferguson looked incredible.

Based on what happened after the fight, a rematch between these two fighters would likely do huge PPV numbers. "We'll see how things play out".

Nurmagomedov was due to receive US$2 million ($3.1m) for his fight against McGregor, but the Nevada Athletic Commission is withholding his salary pending an investigation into the post-fight brawls. According to White, several members of Nurmagomedov's team were arrested but McGregor has declined to press charges.

India vs West Indies | Prithvi Shaw scores century in Test debut
India raced to 232-3 at tea, managing another 132 runs in the evening session's 38 overs with Kohli and Rahane batting cautiously. In the process, Shaw also became the second youngest Indian to score a maiden Test ton after the legendary Sachin Tendulkar .

The individual in the red t-shirt who blindsided McGregor with a sucker-punch after entering the Octagon is facing severe legal repercussions for the assault.

The build up and aftermath of the fight was dominated by McGregor and Khabib's rivalry and disgusting behaviour but on Saturday night it was an excellent and compelling fight and it's a shame it won't be remembered for that.

The UFC president, Dana White, has not ruled out a rematch between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov despite their fight at the weekend ending in ugly scenes.

Nurmagomedov re-entered the octagon and confronted White for not strapping on his championship belt. In Nurmagomedov's apology for triggering the postfight melee, he said of McGregor, "He talked about my religion, he talked about my country, he talked about my father, he come to Brooklyn and he broke bus, he nearly killed a couple people".

Both fighters have had the finger waved at them for being the one to blame for what happened. What about this? Why are people talking about my jumping over the cage? When you have such an unbelievable event that we've worked hard to build over the last several months and it goes flawless, I mean literally it was too eerie.

"There's no doubt he's justified for being upset, but first of all, you, you just won the fight against the biggest superstar in all of sports, let alone our sport".
