National Basketball Association suspends Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram for brawl

National Basketball Association suspends Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram for brawl

The Rockets were clinging to a 109-108 lead when Ingram was called for a foul while trying to defend an aggressive drive by James Harden, who finished with 36 points. Wednesday's game will tip off at 7 p.m.

Damning close-up footage seems to show the alleged spit that sparked the freakish brawl, with long-time rivals Rondo and Paul going toe-to-toe. But they could be in much worse predicaments, with Ingram, Rondo or Paul sitting five, seven or even 10 games.

All three players were ultimately ejected and are facing probable suspension.

Kiedis' outburst followed an on-court brawl between Paul and Lakers players Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram that happened late in the game's fourth quarter.

The trio of National Basketball Association players weren't the only big names to get tossed for their actions. "It's not equitable. If you watch the film, you watch the spit, you watch this and that, it's just".

Rondo has been suspended for instigating a physical altercation with Paul, and spitting and throwing multiple punches at the Rockets star. "That doesn't seem to be right".

The NBA announced on Sunday that Rondo and Ingram would be suspended without pay for three and four games, respectively.

Interference or not? A fan changes the ALCS
Once it was established that the unexpected - from everybody but the Red Sox - was the norm, everything else fell in place. In Thursday night's Game 5, he used it for 39 of his 93 pitches - 41.9% - and got 12 whiffs on changeups, a season high.

"What is he supposed to do?" Ingram came in swinging, literally, and tried to land a punch or two of his own.

Asked if he had ever seen Paul so angry, D'Antoni said: "I've never really seen him spit on before".

Tempers flared from there with Chris Paul and Rondo trading blows, the Lakers point guard shown to have spat towards his Rockets counterpart during the face-to-face to which Paul stuck a finger into Rondo's face in response.

Ingram drew the longest suspension of all the parties involved for returning to and escalating a scuffle between Rajon Rondo and Rockets guard Chris Paul, and throwing a punch that the league deemed "extremely aggressive". Houston's Chris Paul was suspended two games.

Harden also backed his teammate.

The Lakers fell 124-115 to the visiting Houston Rockets to spoil James' debut at Staples Center after dropping their season opener to the Trail Blazers in Portland on Thursday.
