Barbra Streisand Says She ‘Doesn’t Enjoy’ Performing After Stage Fright Hiatus

Funny Girl and Yentl star Barbra Streisand made a drive-by appearance in the November 1 broadcast of The Late Late Show With James Corden-during the popular Carpool Karaoke segment. The idea of Streisand driving around Los Angeles rattled Corden even more when she recalled the moment she thought of giving up driving completely.

"I don't get nervous nervous, but I don't enjoy it", she admitted.

They sang Streisand's classic "The Way We Were", along with many others.

"I've got to be honest, though, if this is how I go out, I'll take it", Corden quipped. "I get scared", she admitted.

A source close to the show production tells ET, "We shot for two hours". And her reaction to the lyrics was just as priceless!

In between random bursts of song, Streisand also revealed that she still feels nervous before stepping onto the stage and uses the motto "let go and let God" to calm herself down. "So what's a better way to change my name than by speaking to Apple, Tim Cook, and saying, 'It would be so helpful if Siri said my name right, is that possible?'"

Corden also gets the legendary singer-actress to talk about her long hiatus from live performances, and she admits she's still not hot on the idea of performing live in front of an audience.

Stresiand did confirm that it was Tiffany Haddish who explained to her who Cardi B was, as Haddish had previously said, but it was James Corden who introduced her to Cardi's music.
