The couple - who met during their time as seniors at Sam Houston State University - got married in Uvalde, about 80 miles west of San Antonio, on Saturday night.

The National Transportation Safety Board was scheduled to release more details Monday.

The helicopter had taken off a few kilometres away from the family ranch in Uvalde, Texas, where the ceremony was held. Their helicopter reportedly crashed just north of Uvalde.
