An eight-second surveillance video posted on the city police force's Weibo account showed the two arguing and grappling with each other moments before the bus veered across oncoming traffic and off the bridge on Sunday morning.

The shocking video shows the argument between the pair escalating, with Liu hitting Ran across the face with her phone. The driver's right hand came off the steering wheel during the altercation, which led to the steering wheel turning sharply to the left, the report said.
