Three of Four Rocket Launches Planned for Tuesday Were Canceled

Falcon 9 was due to lift off Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral with a US Air Force satellite called GPS III SV01.

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the GPS III SV01 navigation satellite for the USA military stands atop its launchpad ahead of a December 18, 2018 launch attempt from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.

SpaceX will be launching a Global Positioning System satellite for the Air Force on a brand-new Falcon 9 rocket.

Elon Musk's SpaceX was balanced on Tuesday to dispatch another government operative satellite for the USA military, checking what the space transportation organization said was its originally assigned national security mission for the United States.

Once the satellite reaches medium Earth orbit, Air Force Command will operate the satellite using the new Ground Operations Systems, or OCX, developed by defense contractor Raytheon.

Compared with their predecessors, GPS III satellites will have a stronger military signal that's harder to jam - an improvement that became more urgent after Norway accused Russian Federation of disrupting GPS signals during a North Atlantic Treaty Organisation military exercise this fall.

It was a unification of two divisive movements and the decision has no significance for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. The Church is working in Ukraine for "peace and national harmony" in the war-torn country.

This morning, SpaceX representatives said the company is still studying the sensor issue that twarted Tuesday's launch attempt. "GPS III will be the first satellite to broadcast four civilian signals, and it will be three times more accurate and up to eight times more powerful than previous generations".

Vespucci is the first of ten planned GPS III satellites.

The launch was originally scheduled for 2014 but has been hobbled by production delays, the Air Force said.

Third up will be Arianespace, which is flying one of Russia's Soyuz rockets and launching a satellite from Europe's spaceport in French Guiana at roughly 6.37pm South African time. "Stand by for updates as we see what weather looks like for tomorrow #NS10", Blue Origin tweeted on Tuesday following their decision to abort their launch plans.

Blue Origin planned to launch its New Shepard rocket with NASA-sponsored science on board in Texas. A United Launch Alliance launch for the National Reconnaissance Office in California was scrubbed later on Tuesday due to high ground winds.
