Video surfaces of Chiefs' Kareem Hunt attacking woman

The NFL has placed Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt on the commissioner's exempt list, a decision that came hours after video surfaced of him pushing a woman in February.

Hunt also was involved in a June incident, according to TMZ, in which he allegedly punched a man at an OH resort.

Neither the Chiefs of National Football League disciplined Hunt for the incident ahead of the season, but that could change now that video of the altercation has been released. Hunt's charge caused both the man and the woman to fall to the ground. In addition, calls to Hunt's agent, Dan Saffron, and the Cleveland Police Department were not immediately returned.

Hunt denied the allegations, and TMZ Sports reported in July that cops were unable to determine if anyone was assaulted and closed the case.

Chiefs' Kareem Hunt Seen Pushing, Kicking Woman In Hotel Surveillance Video

Hunt's friends reportedly told officers she went wild after being asked to leave and called Hunt the n-word. Presumably that means he'll be out of Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders at the very least. A woman who was with Hunt's friends said Ottinger assaulted her. Before the altercation ends, Hunt is seen getting in one last kick. Hunt will continue to be paid, but he won't count against the Chiefs' 53-man roster.

The video shows things could have been much worse, as Hunt appeared to try to charge at the woman multiple times but was held back.

The woman, Abigail Ottinger, a 19-year-old Kent State student, claimed that she spent a night on a party bus going to Cleveland bars with a group of Hunt's friends, according to a police report obtained by Cleveland.com in February.

After being kicked out, one of Hunt's friends said that the woman started using racial slurs. According to the police report, she stuck around for at least 30 more minutes and was yelling and pounding on the door to Hunt's apartment.
