Stranger Things 3 premieres on Netflix on the Fourth of July 2019

The clock to Stranger Things season 3 is officially ticking.

In addition to showing the new teaser, Netflix posted an image on the official Stranger Things Twitter account to confirm the July 4th release date.

Netflix also released a cryptic New Years Eve video to give fans a sneak peek at what's to come in the new season.

While it's a bummer we have to wait all the way until July 4, it looks like the show will be set at the same time but in the summer of 1985.

A few weeks ago, the episode titles for the new season were revealed. Along with this, Netflix has also announced the release date of the acclaimed science fiction-horror web television series. The date was confirmed January 1 with an Independence Day-themed poster showing Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) holding hands with Mike (Finn Wolfhard) as other characters admire fireworks bursting in the distance.

Cary Elwes and Jake Busey will join the series in guest star roles.

Are you hyped for more Stranger Things?

Broadcast from Hawkins, Indiana's local station 5 WIYZ and brought to viewers by Starcourt Mall, the 3-minute-long video features vintage footage of the final moments Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve show from 1985. For example, what does 'WHEN BLUE AND YELLOW MEET IN THE WEST?' mean?

It's a good thing you will probably already be off for the Fourth of July.

Oklahoma Sooners' defense stunned Alabama Crimson Tide's fast start
The College Football Playoff was cool and all, but the real story is Kevin Murray, father of Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray . I just kind of feel like some of our guys were pissed off because we knew that was not as good as we can play.
