Grande is said to have pulled out of performing at this stage.

Ariana Grande will be noticeably absent from this weekend's Grammy Awards.

Ariana Grande has been known to be a bit of a diva but ya know who tops her divaness?

After having an alleged argument with the award show's producers over which songs she would perform, the Sweetener songstress not only backed out of performing at the upcoming show, she's not even GOING to it!

'I do not want to do what people tell me to do, I do not want to conform to the pop star agenda. The 25-year-old actually began her time in entertainment as an actress on the Nickelodeon show Victorious, which she soon spun into a music career.

The pop sensation was apparently left "insulted" after producers of the GRAMMYs wouldn't let her perform her most recent single, "7 rings".

She's also sure to be hoping for success at the music awards - as she's up for five gongs. Grande is very open about sharing her life on social media, and that includes her relationships.

Along with Grande, it's been reported that Taylor Swift and Maroon 5 also won't be attending this year's Grammys.

Despite these creative obstacles, Ariana has chose to not let her fans bear the brunt of this.

After some heavy negotiation, they eventually approved of the tune, as long as it was part of a medley songs and they insisted on selecting her second song.

In November, Grande released the single "thank u, next", which broke a number of streaming records and earned the singer her first No. 1 hit.

The whole thing is quite shocking since Grande is actually on the nominee list in two categories - Best Vocal Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.
