NBA Trade Deadline Heats Up As 76ers Make Blockbuster Trade

NBA Trade Deadline Heats Up As 76ers Make Blockbuster Trade

The Clippers have agreed to trade Tobias Harris to the Sixers, reports ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Harris is having his best National Basketball Association season, averaging 20.9 points on 50 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent from the 3-point line.

With the trade, the 76ers are now looking to be front runners for the Eastern division.

"We are in the unique position to contend now and we think this trade positions us well for the postseason", Sixers general manager Elton Brand said in a statement.

He was the 76ers' main target, but they also get 221cm giant Boban Marjanovic and forward Mike Scott from the LA side.

The Pistons and Bucks are reportedly "finalising" the trade ahead of Thursday's (Friday AEDT) deadline.

Liverpool defender Joe Gomez to have more surgery on injured leg
We will see exactly how we do it. "Now we are on two points and that's why we don't have to look too much at the table". If surgery is required then Joe Gomez might not return back to full fitness before the month of March.

Gary Neville Has Predicted When Chelsea Will Sack Maurizo Sarri
As the fulcrum of the system and symbol of "Sarriball", Jorginho has borne the brunt of the on-pitch criticism. Even in victory over Huddersfield, this tension was never far from the surface.

Huawei 5G foldable phone teased in MWC 2019 press conference invite
Other leading manufacturers like Samsung , LG, and Xiaomi are working on their version of foldable smartphones . That rumour soon blossomed and not long after, the company confirmed it is indeed working on such a device.

The trade will give the 76ers a "Big Four" with Harris joining All-Stars Simmons, Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler for a legitimate shot of not only claiming the Eastern Conference title, but talent to challenge Western Conference powers Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets for the championship.

According to O'Connor, that's not yet a done deal as there is some dispute over the protections of that draft pick.

Harris is making $14.8 million this season and will become a free agent at the end of the season.

Yet L.A. has successfully set the franchise as another with the cap room necessary to sign two max-level free agents and have the youth and flexibility to hone their young players into a support role.

The Sixers' four picks, in a trade first reported by ESPN, sent to the Clippers are their lottery-protected 2020 first-round pick, a 2021 first-rounder, a 2021 second-round pick and a 2023 second-round pick.

After a loss to Toronto, Philadelphia (34-20) now sits at fifth in the Eastern Conference.
