For Sunday's ceremony, Villa worked with Desi Designs Couture to create a look that represented the yet-to-be-built border wall Trump promised supporters in his 2016 presidential campaign. One tweet read, "Had to unfollow Ricky rebel because he supports trump and I'm super bummed about it and also very confused???"

"I'm part-Latina, I'm black", she added, saying the dress was her way of making a statement to her progressive peers who were at the event.

Singer Joy Villa, who attended the Grammys past year in a gown decorated with a fetus, dressed as President Donald Trump's wall to Sunday's 61st annual Grammy Awards.

And a year ago, she had a pro-life message on the Grammys red carpet.

"When Trump came in the picture, at first I hated him", Villa told the outlet.

She explained that there's no racism involved in her politics - building a wall simply makes sense to her.
